Lammas/Lughnasad Recipes

Lughnasad is upon us!  The translation of this holiday’s name literally means “loaf mass.”  Like. It is a holiday about bread.

Okay it is not entirely about bread.  Lughnasad also known as Lammas is the celebration of the first harvest. Continue reading

Book Review: Rise Sister Rise

I picked up Rise Sister Rise: A Guide to Unleashing the Wise, Wild Woman Within by Rebecca Campbell at a Barnes and Noble about three months ago.  I was looking for a book on women’s spirituality from a broader perspective. Something a bit more mulitfaith or from a non religious standpoint.  I was attempting to get myself out of my spiritual comfort zone of standard Pagan, Wiccan, witchcraft and magic books and manuals.41cRIs-0anL._SX322_BO1,204,203,200_

The Great Pagan Divide

Lately I’ve noticed that I seem to be the only one know feels this way.  I have noticed a lot of ire in both camps regarding the other. Continue reading

When I returned the document back to my coworker, she responded to me by saying, “Oh my god I think you are a wizard.”

Not going to lie. I chuckled.

This is not the only time that coworkers of mine Continue reading

Essential Oil Bug Spray

Happy Independence Day weekend!  If your holiday festivities are anything like mine, you have been spending a ton of time outdoors this weekend.  And as much as I love being in nature, I do not love bug bites.  With the rise of Lyme Disease and other bug carrying illnesses in the Northeast, it is imperative that you apply some sort of bug spray when you spent a ton of time outdoors.

Trouble is, commercial bug sprays are terrible for the environment and to human health. Continue reading
